Greco-Roman wrestler (b. 1999), two-time world champion, Tokyo 2020 silver and Paris 2024 bronze medallist.

Akzhol Makhmudov wrestles Greco-Roman at 77 kg and won silver at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
In 2022 he became Kyrgyzstan's first Greco-Roman world champion and repeated the title in 2023.
His bronze at Paris 2024 made him one of the Kyrgyz athletes with medals at two Olympic Games.
