Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

A foundation funding projects that protect and promote Turkic cultural heritage. Created at Azerbaijan's initiative, with its secretariat in Baku.

The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation was created to protect, study and promote the culture and heritage of the Turkic peoples. It was established at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan with the support of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, and its charter was adopted at the Bishkek summit on 23 August 2012.

The Foundation started work after the Astana summit of 11 September 2015. Its secretariat is in Baku.

It funds exhibitions, book publications, restoration and research projects, festivals and concerts. Its aim is to make the shared heritage of the Turkic world better known both among the Turkic peoples and worldwide.
