Jeti-Ögüz Rocks
Red cliffs called the "Seven Bulls" in Issyk-Kul Region, one of Kyrgyzstan's best-known natural symbols.

The Jeti-Ögüz Rocks are sheer cliffs of red conglomerate, protected as a natural monument since 1975. Their name comes from their resemblance to seven bulls lying side by side.
Legend links them to a khan's unfaithful wife; a nearby formation is called the "Broken Heart".
A sanatorium and hot springs lie at their foot, and the green valley above is popular for riding and hiking. The rocks often appear in Kyrgyz paintings and songs.
