Olga Rypakova
Athlete (b. 1984), 2012 London Olympic triple jump champion.

Olga Rypakova was born in East Kazakhstan. She began in the heptathlon, winning the 2006 Asian Games, before switching to the long and triple jump.
She became world indoor champion in 2010 and won triple jump gold at the 2012 London Olympics, adding another medal at the 2016 Rio Games.
A holder of Asian records, Rypakova is the greatest star of Kazakh athletics. She retired in 2023.
