Teimour Radjabov

Chess player who became a grandmaster at 14 and won the FIDE World Cup in 2019.

Teimour Radjabov was born in Baku in 1987 and became a grandmaster in 2001, aged 14. In 2004 he reached the semi-finals of the FIDE World Championship in Tripoli.

He won the FIDE World Cup in 2019 and for many years led Azerbaijan's national team, winning European titles with it.
