Toktogul Dam and Reservoir
The country's largest power station (1,260 MW) and largest reservoir, on the Naryn river.

The Toktogul Dam stands on the Naryn river in Jalal-Abad Region. The concrete dam is 215 m high and 292 m long, and the station is named after the great akyn Toktogul Satylganov.
With four turbines and 1,260 MW of capacity it is Kyrgyzstan's largest power station; the reservoir holds 19.5 cubic kilometres and is 65 km long.
Part of the Naryn–Syr Darya cascade, it supplies much of the country's electricity, and its reservoir matters for irrigation downstream in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Toktogul's native village of Kushchusu lies beneath its waters.
