Tomb of Gül Baba
The tomb of the Bektashi dervish Gül Baba in Budapest — the northernmost Islamic pilgrimage site in the world.

Gül Baba was a dervish of the Bektashi order who died in Buda in 1541, the year the Ottomans took it; legend says he brought the rose to Buda, and the Rose Hill (Rózsadomb) where his tomb stands is named after him.
The octagonal türbe was built in the 16th century by the Ottoman governor of Budin and sits in a rose garden at the top of steep Mecset (Mosque) Street, near Margaret Bridge.
It is the northernmost Islamic pilgrimage site in the world, visited by pilgrims from Türkiye and beyond, and reopened after joint Turkish–Hungarian restoration.
