Kyrenia Mountains (Beşparmak)
A narrow range running 160 km along the north coast, named after a peak shaped like five fingers.

The Kyrenia Mountains run about 160 km along the north coast, made mostly of hard crystalline limestone and some marble; the highest peak is Mount Selvili (1,024 m).
Their Turkish name Beşparmak ("five fingers") comes from a rocky peak resembling five fingers — in folk legend the petrified handprint of a hero.
The slopes hold the castles of St Hilarion, Buffavento and Kantara, monasteries and hiking trails, and in spring the mountains are covered with orchids and wild flowers.
