TCG Anadolu
The largest ship of the Turkish Navy — a multi-purpose amphibious assault ship in service since 2023.
TCG Anadolu was built at the Sedef shipyard in Istanbul, based on the design of Spain's Juan Carlos I. About 231 metres long, she can carry tanks, armoured vehicles, helicopters and hundreds of marines.
She was commissioned into the Turkish Navy on 10 April 2023. Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aircraft fly from her deck, earning her recognition as the world's first "drone carrier".
TCG Anadolu extends Türkiye's ability to conduct military and humanitarian operations far from home, and after the 2023 earthquake she served as a floating hospital.
