"Âsitâne Meşkleri" at the Nicosia Mevlevi Lodge: an evening of Sufi music and Mevlevi culture

A music evening titled "Âsitâne Meşkleri" was held at 19:00 on 24 October at the Mevlevi Lodge in Nicosia (Lefkoşa), the capital of Northern Cyprus. It was organised jointly by the Cyprus Foundations Administration, Türkiye's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Istanbul Meydan Meşkleri Ensemble and the Yunus Emre Institute.

The programme was performed by the Istanbul Meydan Meşkleri Ensemble, led by M. Fatih Çıtlak and Yüce Gümüş. The evening featured Sufi and traditional Turkish music, along with talks on Mevlevi culture and the Sufi tradition.
