All Saints' Day
A day off by law in Hungary: families light candles at cemeteries to remember their loved ones.

1 November, All Saints' Day (Mindenszentek), is a public holiday by law in Hungary. The next day, 2 November, is All Souls' Day, when loved ones who have passed away are remembered.
By Hungarian tradition families visit cemeteries, tidy and decorate the graves with flowers and light candles; at night the cemeteries glow quietly with thousands of candles.
Tradition
Special services are held in churches, and people also visit the graves of national heroes and famous figures.
