Over $500 million in deals with Türkiye at ADEX-2026: 14 HÜRKUŞ-II, BARBAROS, MIZRAK

During ADEX-2026, the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition held in Baku from 30 September to 2 October, Azerbaijan and Türkiye signed defence contracts worth more than $500 million in total, according to Haluk Görgün, head of Türkiye's Defence Industry Agency.
They include 14 HÜRKUŞ-II trainer and light-attack aircraft from TUSAŞ — the model's first export, with the first two aircraft due by the end of the year — as well as ASELSAN's ALP-100 low-altitude radar, Baykar's MIZRAK loitering munition, the Antidot electronic-warfare system and Roketsan's BARBAROS mobile coastal defence system.
Also signed were a preliminary agreement with ASELSAN on a production facility in Nakhchivan, logistics-support agreements between Otokar, MKE and Azerbaijan's MIRAS, and a protocol on science, education and workforce training for the defence industry.
Türkiye fielded the largest delegation, with 61 companies. In all, 277 companies from 30 countries took part in ADEX-2026.
