Tokayev to visit Türkiye on 28–30 October for talks with Erdoğan and the OTS summit in Ankara
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to Türkiye from 28 to 30 October at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his press secretary Aibek Smadiyarov announced.
Talks between the two leaders are expected in Ankara, focused on deepening the expanded strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye. Erdoğan said in a speech that Ankara would host Tokayev on 28 October.
The second part of the trip is the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States: Tokayev will join the leaders' meeting in Ankara on 30 October. At the informal summit in Turkistan this May, he spoke of the Turkic world's shared spiritual values and stressed that the organisation is not a military alliance.
