A week before the 13th OTS Summit: Erdoğan hosts Secretary General Omuraliev in Ankara

Preparations for the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States have entered their final stage. On 22 October, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received OTS Secretary General Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.

The summit will convene on 30 October under the theme “Turkic Century: Unity in Language, Thought and Deed” — bringing together three priorities the organization has championed in recent years: a common language and alphabet, a shared outlook, and joint projects.

The summit week also has a cultural side: an OTS Republic Day concert in Ankara on 28 October and a special concert in honour of the heads of state at Beştepe on 29 October.
