Mirziyoyev meets Emir of Qatar: Uzbekistan–Qatar ties at the level of strategic partnership
Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar on 26 October, during the Emir's working visit to the country.
According to the presidential website, relations between the two countries have risen to the level of a strategic partnership. The leaders reviewed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and agreed to expand projects in trade and the economy, investment, and the social and humanitarian fields.
They also exchanged views on global and regional issues. The report names no signed documents or figures.
