More than 1,700 delegates from 75 countries register for Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan

Registration has closed for the 31st international conference and exhibition Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan (OGT 2026), to be held in Ashgabat on 21–23 October under the motto "Energy. Partnership. Progress." The organisers say more than 1,700 delegates from 75 countries and 450 companies will attend, including participants from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Last year's forum drew more than 1,400 delegates from 70 countries.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is the forum's lead partner. The conference will discuss development of the Galkynysh gas field, the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) pipeline, opportunities in the Caspian region, gas processing, digital transformation and methane-emission reduction.
The exhibition opens on 21 October at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and will feature the first Malaysian national pavilion, with more than 20 companies. Pre-conference events begin a day earlier, on 20 October.
