Joint Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Silk Road tourist route presented in Berlin

The Joint Silk Road Highlights Tour, a tourist route developed together by Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, was presented in Berlin on October 22. It was organised by Uzbekistan's National PR Center and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board under a cooperation memorandum signed in July 2026.
The route links Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva in Uzbekistan with Baku, Shamakhi and Sheki in Azerbaijan. Representatives of more than 20 companies and over 40 tourism professionals from Germany attended.
The aim is to combine the two countries' historical and cultural heritage and shared Great Silk Road traditions into one offer for the European market, and to build new business contacts and partnerships.
