Squash
A fast racket game played between four walls — making its Olympic debut at Los Angeles 2028.

In squash two players take turns hitting a small rubber ball against the front wall of an enclosed court; the opponent must return it before it bounces twice. The game demands great stamina and is often called one of the healthiest sports in the world.
History
Squash emerged at Harrow School in England around 1830. The World Squash Federation (WSF) was founded in 1967, and professionals compete on the PSA tour. Egyptian players have dominated the game in recent years. After a long campaign for Olympic status, squash makes its debut at Los Angeles 2028.
Major competitions
The Olympic Games (from 2028), the PSA World Championships, the British Open, the World Games and the Asian Games.
In the Turkic world
In the Turkic countries squash is spreading as a club sport in big cities such as Istanbul, Baku, Almaty and Budapest. Olympic status is expected to bring more national federations and young players.
