Colombian singer Shakira performs in Bishkek on 18 October at the newly opened Bishkek Arena. The show is part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour and, according to ticket sellers, is the star's first concert in Central Asia. It is expected to start at around 19:00–20:00 local time and last about two hours.

The concert was announced at the end of September by Kanybek Tumanbaev of the Kyrgyz Presidential Affairs Department. To help concertgoers get to and from the venue, several roads around the arena have been closed since the morning and four bus routes temporarily diverted.

Bishkek Arena opened on 31 August 2026, Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day, and with room for about 51,000 spectators it is among the largest arenas in Central Asia. Since its opening it has hosted football matches, festivals and concerts.
