Türkiye's space technology company Fergani has deployed its sixth test satellite, FRG-100D4. According to Anadolu Agency on October 21, the satellite was launched on SpaceX's Bandwagon-5 mission and reached its target orbit at an altitude of 590 kilometres about 63 minutes after separating from the launch vehicle.

Baykar, the satellite's manufacturer, said FRG-100D4 carries several technological improvements over earlier satellites and is equipped with an AI-powered computer intended to support more advanced missions.

The satellite uses domestically developed components, including a reaction wheel, magnetic torque rod, magnetometer, inertial measurement unit, GNSS receiver, steerable solar panels, battery pack, regenerative modem and phased-array antenna.
