TÜRKSOY in Ankara discusses preparations for Kayseri as 2027 Capital of Turkic World Culture

The International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) held a coordination meeting at its Secretariat in Ankara on 15 October to plan and prepare the events of “Kayseri 2027 Capital of Turkic World Culture”.

Representatives of Türkiye's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality took part. The infrastructure for the international events to be held in Kayseri was discussed.

The sides reviewed a roadmap for academic workshops on the common language, theatre gatherings and art festivals. The aim is to turn these events into lasting cultural projects serving the shared memory of the Turkic world.
